To adjust the Temperature Limit Stop,with the handle removed, loosen the adjustment hex screw with a 7/64″ hex wrench and slide the screw to the highest position (See Figure A) on the metal stop tube sleeve. Tighten the hex screw. With the screw in this position your are accessing full hot water.

How does a Moentrol valve work?

The Moentrol valve operates by pulling the knob out to control flow. Once the knob is pulled out to turn the water on, it is then rotated to select a temperature. Left for hot, right for cold, or a mixture of both in the middle. Once the faucet is done being used, you can turn it off by pushing the knob straight in.

Can a Moen 3570 be used with positemp trim?

The trim for PosiTemp and Moentrol are usually different fits and not interchangeable. The 3570 has 1/2” copper sweat fittings so you will need to know how to solder properly. Don’t attempt soldering unless you have experience. Overheating or cold joints are common mistakes and can lead to failed connections.
