This was causing humid air to come in the freezer (we live in Florida), which would freeze over, leaving frost on the food and also leading to the water line to freezer. It look a little bit to remove the old flapper value and install the new one, but this thing did the trick and I’ve not had any further issues with the water line freezing up.
