Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) is a business model where the buyer of a product provides information to a vendor of that product and the vendor takes full responsibility for maintaining an agreed inventory of the material, usually at the buyer’s consumption location.

Do you get paid to go to VMI?

It is awarded on merit, based on academic achievements, extracurricular activities, and personal interviews. Contracted Cadets receive a monthly stipend of $420 for books and uniforms. Non-scholarship Contracted Cadets receive a uniform allowance but are not eligible for the book stipend.

Can you date at VMI?

The cadets’ alleged conduct is a violation of both the school’s longstanding ban on sexual contact involving students on post and a more recent prohibition against dating among freshmen that the school adopted just before it admitted women. The latter rule also prohibits dating between freshmen and upperclassmen.

A VMI is when your vendor is managing the supply of your inventory. Whereas, a consignment relates to the ownership of the inventory. You can have a VMI that is not a consignment inventory, you can have a consignment that’s not a VMI, and you can have inventory that is both a VMI and consignment.

Where are the Orienteering World Games being held?

This event was originally scheduled for summer 2021 but has been postponed due to pandemic related border restrictions. The World Games 2022 are being hosted in Birmingham, Alabama with orienteering included as one of the sports. Vulcan Orienteering Club along with Orienteering USA will be hosting the orienteering events.
