TRAFFIC: The A217 is closed at St Mary’s Church in Burgh Heath due to a sink hole under the road. Engineers are en route to assess the situation but the road will remain closed in the meantime.

Reigate Hill southbound reopens, but closures on Yorke Rd and Rushworth Rd. The southbound carriageway of Reigate Hill has now reopened after being closed for just over two weeks for work on gas mains. The road was closed south of Raglan Road to beyond the level crossing, with a diversion via Croydon Road.

Due to emergency road works, we have closed part of Gatton Bottom in Merstham. A diversion will remain in place until we reopen the road, which is planned for early next week. Water supplies have not been affected.
