The Toronto Islands have a small handful of eateries. Selection and variety are limited, as most of the restaurants do not operate year round, full-time, and are open only seasonally.

It is about a 2 mile walk from Ward’s island to Centre Island. There is no short cut. Option 1 is your best bet if you’re not into the walk. However, you will have to get to the end of the line for the Center Island Ferry and pay your fare like everyone else.
